ANY LAST THOUGHTS ABOUT BRINGING GRATITUDE INTO THE WORKPLACE?
I’d like to conclude with a new take on an old French saying about the more outward changes in appearance, the more fundamentals remain constant,
“Amidst the great changes today
what have we forgotten
that now wants to emerge?
Amidst a massive category-five vortex of change now barreling through our society, I say that we have forgotten who we are, that we have always been connected with each other, in deep neurological ways, in emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual ways.
Like wetness and water to fish, I believe that we have been blind and numb to profound levels of our interconnectedness and now like fish flopping around on the deck, we have begun to sense and feel something both ancient and new, something familiar and exciting, both intimate and shared by all.
As we begin to experience this interconnectedness in more immediate and accessible ways, as we experience receiving the presence of others with a fuller sense, we open ourselves to a larger presence…beyond the isolated psycho-social entities of “me”, “I” and “we”.
As we expand to include this growing presence, we can, as a choice, to take greater comfort, safety and strength in the “us” and the “many in One”.
In the process, as we experience greater levels of Gratitude, we find ourselves in a new world, on an adventure unlike any other, and lit from within to explore it with kindred spirits.
I faith with the intent that Gratitude Games will provide a beacon and waystation for those hardy souls on their epic adventure of self-discovery, transformation, and mastery.
